Good Morning Stampers,
Today’s post is a card I made for a beautiful lady in mind….at first I was very lost with the way it was going and I was so close to throwing it out because I really wasn’t happy with the look of it! But in the end it came together and now I absolutely love it! Does anyone else have those issues? lol
anyway, hope you like what you see.
Although I struggled with direction at first, looking back …it really was such a simple card to do, and I absolutely love the end result.
That luscious paper is Perfectly Artistic DSP from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue but it’s only available for a limited time, so you really need to be quick if you want some! I love the fact that it’s double sided with marbling on one side and watercolour (which I’ve used) on the other.
I don’t usually use yellow or in this case Daffodil Delight, but I think with the Kraft Cardstock and the gorgeous flower…. from stamp set Helping Me Grow in the Occasions Catalogue, it looks perfect.
I used Little Letter Thinlits and some Gold Glimmer Paper to create the word I wanted and to add some bling….everyone gets a bit of bling from my cards, even my teenage boys are not immune to it! lol
And again I try to take elements from the outside and use them inside the card.
I have used the Angled Tag Topper Punch ……which silly me, didn’t click that it is retired! So I’ve got the Ornate Tag Topper Punch details below as an alternative….and if I had been thinking, I also would have used that one.
Below are the products I used to make this card….If you would like to purchase anything from the list below, please don’t hesitate to contact me via email, sms or phone…or you can easily do it all yourself by clicking on any item below and you will be directed to my Stampin’ Up! account.
Enjoy! And I looking forward to hearing from you.
